So, what’s the role?
As Manager, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, lead a capable team, and work closely with a Senior Manager and the Partners to deliver exceptional service and leadership. You’ll be across everything from compliance and workflow management to strategic, value-add projects—and you’ll be a trusted sounding board for both your clients and your colleagues.
Here’s what a typical week might look like:
- Mapping out client strategies that go beyond compliance— think business valuations, asset protection, estate planning, process improvement.
- Overseeing workflow, WIP, budgets, and lodgement deadlines (with Senior Manager/Partner).
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching your team, setting the professional tone, and fostering an environment of trust, growth, respect, and accountability.
- Building strong, lasting relationships with clients, industry peers, and the wider business community.
- Spotting opportunities for new business, cross-referrals, and service improvements.
- Staying connected— attending events, networking, and raising both your own and the firm’s profile.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is CA or CPA qualified with solid management experience in public practice accounting.
