Welcome to our new blog!
Joanne and I are really excited to have the opportunity to share with you our experiences, tips, insights and stories relating to Recruitment & HR, Management & Leadership as well as South Australian business and other related workplace news. Subscribers to our blog will also receive invitations to the various events and workshops we hold and other exclusive promotions and offers.
Anyone who knows Joanne and I would understand it didn’t take long for us to come up with a good 20+ topics we’d like to cover [we do love to share a good story!], plus a few amusing/slightly shocking/entertaining experiences we’ve had during our time in recruitment and management. We will also have ‘guest’ writers from time to time – industry experts, leadership coaches, organisational psychologists and perhaps a story from a candidate or two.
So now the hard part begins – actually getting this stuff down on paper! So bear with us, we’ll be back shortly with some cracking blogs!
In the meantime we’ll be sharing a bit of background information on the two of us [Joanne Blackman and Melanie Mansfield] so you can get to know us, and what we’re all about.

Thank you to everyone who attended our fantastic breakfast event and celebrated 10 years of Mansfield & Co with us. Our keynote speaker Rebecca Christianson presented “The New Leadership Paradigm – Why the Old Rules No Longer Work” , exploring nine elements of this new leadership paradigm, and how this framework can fundamentally shift how we lead, influence and deliver outcomes in an increasingly complex world. We were also joined by a panel of exceptional leaders who shared their perspectives and experiences.
